Close the Startup folder and your done. Now every time your computer turns on automatically the shutdown command is delayed 8 hours. After this time expires the computer will turn off. If at any time you want to stop the shutdown simply go to START then RUN and type SHUTDOWN –A Or you create a stop file on the desktop. Right click the desktop and select new text document and type: CD\ Shutdown –a Save file as Continue Working.bat Now at any time you want to stop the shutdown just click Continue Working.bat This will force the shutdown to close and you can manually shut the computer down later when you need to.
Steps to make your computer into a custom alarm clock Have your computer play any song you want when it starts up automatically at 6:00am every morning. Go to START then PROGRAMS and right click STARTUP and select OPEN Copy and paste any song you want into this folder. Now when your computer starts up automatically in the morning it plays your choice of music. Just be sure to keep your speakers turned up.
